We will be hosting a Speech & Debate Tournament here in Tyler on Feb 26, 27, and 28th…. at Calvary Baptist Church on Old Jacksonville (the schedule is below).  We need and would love to have local judges come and judge speeches and debates.  Come and be encouraged and impressed by bright leaders of the future engage in high quality speeches and debates.  It gives me hope every time I judge!
You need to set aside whatever time is available, plus about 30 minutes for training.  Anyone can do this… and it is fun for the kids to have local people come and judge!
I expected this to be like kids badly doing some school concert that I would help and tolerate how bad it really is… but I was super impressed and encouraged it!
